Czifray István Restaurant offers special domestic, regional dishes using vegetables from the Eco-Garden of the Hungarikum Liget and products of our Vegetable Processing Plant.

Opening hours: 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. every day of the week.

Buffet breakfast: 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. 

Á la carte meals: 12.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Buffet dinner: 6.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.

The restaurant of the Hungarikum Hotel****superior is named after István Czifray, one of the greatest gastronomic figures in Hungarian history. The restaurant uses locally produced ingredients to bring the flavours of the Carpathian Basin and the traditional national dishes of Hungarian cuisine to the guests' plates. Using 21st century kitchen technology and high level of knowledge, the dishes become even more magnificent. Top gastronomy machines serve the satisfaction of our guests. Our menu also features Italian flavours, with quality ingredients sourced from Italy.

The István Czifray Restaurant is the restaurant of the Hungarikum Hotel ****superior located in the 27 hectare Hungarikum Liget experience complex.
The gastronomy of the Hungarikum Hotel is an exceptional journey to 19th century Hungary, complemented by the possibilities of 21st century modern gastronomy.
A real curiosity is that we prepare our dishes using our own raw materials, thanks to the vegetables grown in the Hungarikum Liget's own Eco-Garden and the products produced in the Vegetable and Fruit Processing Plant.
We also supplement our raw materials with produce from local and regional producers and farmers, supporting the regional economy and quality small-scale production. The origin, quality and freshness of the ingredients are impeccable.
Our kitchen conjures up the colourful flavours of the Carpathian Basin and the traditional national dishes of Hungarian cuisine on the plates of our guests from our own, local and regional farm produce. 
Our vocation is to provide the best service for our guests' half-board meals, as well as the daily á la carte meals for our guests and visitors alike.
We have opened our buffet dinner to local, regional, passing or inquiring guests to enjoy our unrivalled buffet dinner menu in addition to our á la carte dishes.
The István Czifray Restaurant is an outstanding venue for a family, corporate lunch or dinner. We create our menus and dishes based on the individual needs of the event, and we expertly compose our drinks menu.
Our restaurant bears the name of István Czifray, in memory of his cookery and the first Hungarian cookbook from his pen, which contains numerous unique 19th century recipes.
Our dinners are truly unique thanks to the dishes inspired by István Czifray's recipes, our spectacular kitchen and the Hungaricums on offer.
Our guests can choose the drinks they want to accompany their meals from our drinks and wine list, which is carefully selected and crowned with Hungarian specialities. In addition to the excellent wines of the Hungarian wine region, you can taste the local winery's own wines, domestic craft beers, premium short drinks, cocktails and seasonal drink specialities.
